30 Day Challenge.

My postpartum body is not my favorite thing in the world.
I love my baby more than the world and would do it a million times again
and will (hopefully 2 more times- we wants 3 babies all together),
but I am not a big fan of my extra skin, baby pooch and stretch marks.

I have lost all my baby weight. In fact since we breast fed for 7.5 months, I actually weight LESS than what I did prior to getting pregnant, but I am not a fan of the pouch.

Since we are in the process of buying and renovating a house, financially we re a bit strapped for extra spending money. So I am trying for an easy at home 30 Day Challenge.

I decided to go with two at once since I don't think that one will be enough.

Since I see no reason to wait until the start of the month to try it.
I am going to start tonight.
Some of the end ones are a bit crazy, so I am going to have to break them down into sets, but I think I will be able to do it!!

500 Miles

I could not believe my ears.
As I plugged my ipod touch into my computer today, a message popped on my screen from my Nike +
It stated that I had just reached over 500 miles ran (506 to be exact), from when I first started running in June of 2009!!
Looking at my running history, I ran my most miles in May of 2010, where it reports that I ran 58.87 miles. Now this is also quite off. I know this because when I ran my half marathon in September 2010, my ipod said I only ran 12. 4 when I obviously ran 13. 1!!

So I am probably somewhere up in the 550. But over 500 is amazing regardless of how far!!
I am quite proud of myself!!
Hopefully I can look like this within 83 days!!

Not likely, but hey a girl can wish!!
Any ways work outs this week!!

McSlacker

Ugh, so after feeling a bit under weather for a week or so and getting crazy busy at work with new deliverables and massive amounts of progress notes I got quite slackery.
And by that I mean, I have not been to the gym at all in like two weeks.
I feel chubby & lazy and not myself.
I have been doing some crunches and things at home, but its not the same as getting in a great workout at a gym.
I feel like I have been hanging out eating McDoubles all day.
Blahhhh.
So here is my motivation to get my butt to the gym from now until the wedding!
Work out Schedule:
Monday: 6 am Workout
3 mile run & 30 min abs & 30 min arm/ shoulder workout
Tuesday: 6am Workout
3 mile run and 30 minute leg workout
Wednesday: 6am Wokrout
3 mile run & 30 min abs & 30 min arm/ shoulder workout
Thursday: 7 pm Workout
3 mile run & 30 min abs & 30 min work out
Friday: 5pm Workout
30 minute eliptical and 30 minute abs.
Give our take my work schedule by a bit.

On the days I can't make it to the gym for some reason I plan on doing
30 jumping jacks
5 push ups
25 high knees
10 crunches
7 squats
5 push ups
10 crunches
7 squats
30 jumping jacks
1 minute wall sit
5 push ups
25 high knees

repeat if want to.
Now only if I can force myself to stick to this.
I am determined to be Victoria Secret Status by the wedding!!

Or this:
Basically, I'm not giving up this time!!!

From 13.1 to 13......I mean none.

So this semi could go on a wedding wednesday post, but semi not.
For those of you who do not know I ran a half marathon a little less than a year ago now.
A year ago, I was in kick butt training mode. 7 miles was about my average run
and 5 miles was considered a  short running day.
 I was ridiculous.
However, after my half marathon (&cutting off 10inches of my hair)
school started back up and I became unable to find time/motivation to run.
Well here I am almost a year later and hardly can run a mile let alone 13.1.
Now I am not training for another half marathon,
however, with my wedding and honeymoon 8 months away I am trying to get my winter pudge off
and get my dream of Jessica Alba abs.
Now I don't have a gym membershio at the moment because with 11 days left of school
I haven't found the time to be able to go and didn't want to waste the money.
But I have still be trying to make it running
and I have 5lb weights at home to tone with.
For those of you who want to know. I am not really trying to lose weight.
I am 5'2" and happy with my weight, but would love to be more toned for my wedding/honeymoon.
So I am writing this to hopefully find my motivation to become the work out junkie that I was one year ago.
So please excuse my occasional posts that will be about running and working out.
Also if you have some extra work out motivation please pass it along, as I will be sure to return the favor!
With all this being said.
Fiance and I went on my longest run in about 6 months yesterday.
Only 3 miles.
Kind of pathetic in my workouts but a good start none the less.
The first mile was great, most likely because it was down hill.
But I felt good, no cramps, no burning lungs, just a sweet burn.
Miles 2-3 not so hot.
My run had 2 large hills, all which were near the end. The first hill hurt but I handled it.
The 2nd hill. I pretty much wanted to stop.
But I didn't.
Finished the run in just over 29 minutes making my miles at 9.51 a mile.
At t his moment I would like to get them down to 9:45 and eventually right at 9.
Now I need some sort of ab work out that will help me tone up my abs.
My stomach has always been my trouble spot.
I am not even going to tell you how many times I have been asked if I was pregnant.
Which makes me obviouslyupset and want to fight everyone.
So my stomach is never something I have been able to find good workouts for.
So my lovely fitness bloggers.
If any of you have any tips on what are good workout routines with out a gym.
Or how to find the re-motivation to get back out on the pavement to start running long distance again
please please share.
Only 8 more months to get back in shape.
#skinnies
xoxo.
