Julep Maven

So as some of you know through following this blog, I am completely obsessed with nail polish.

 I have way too much and change my polish way to frequently. 

I love it. 

So after a while of hearing about Julep {mostly from Tara @ fabulousbutevil}
I decided to give in and try out the monthly box. 

The first box is a starter kit & and it was free, although they suckered me into buying an extra polish for 4.95, but the first three were free +shipping. 

It came really cutely packaged with pink and black wrapping.

Very girly.

SO far I have only used one color, but it goes on quite smoothly. 

I have only had it on for two days, but no chips so far!!

I am going to let the box go for 1 more month {maybe 2} before I cancel, as each extra month cost 19.99. 

You can cancel any time before the 20th and you won't be charged for that month. 

So far I like it. 

Sally Hansen Salon Effects

As a notorious nail biter. 

I am constantly trying to constantly keep nail polishes on to keep myself from biting my nails.

However, I hardly have time to sleep let alone paint my nails often to keep up. 

My friend recently told me about Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips and I figured try them out for my self. 

So I picked up a few different types because I had a gift card left over from Christmas so I figured why not.

Cheetah

So, as you can see they go on really nicely and basically all you do is stick on the applique, cut off the access and then file them down. Takes about 2 minutes total and no time waiting for drying or worrying about smudging them.

I have had them on for 10 days now and I have not had a single chip yet. 

They come off with just regular nail polish remover as well.

They are a little pricey, I got mine at a drug store for 9.99, but its fun and it comes with 16 pieces so if one does chip you can put another on. 

I also bought one in Lace so I will be doing that next!!

After working all morning today my fiance and I are just laying low, making a delicious dinner and cleaning up our apartment. Probably going for a cute little 2 mile run together later tonight!
