What I'm Loving Wednesday

Linking up with Jamie from Little Daisy May this Wednesday, as I am waiting for a few things to progress on the wedding side.

I'm loving that the fiance and I both have off July 4th after not having a day off in over a month. I am not even sure what I am going to do with myself! My excitement is outta control. Hmm, now only to plan the day!!
I'm loving that my nails are finally starting to grow out again!! As a serial biter, I fall off the wagon quite often. I find if I keep nail polish on them I can usually avoid the temptation to bite, but I don't always have time for that!!
I'm loving that fiance and I will be placing an order for something wedding related very soon. Keeping the details on the down low right now, but will be releasing them once we make the order =]

I'm loving that I am slowly but surely starting to get some color on my very pale skin!!!

I'm loving my lovely followers on here and on twitter!! You guys are amazing and I love where my blogger & twitter life is heading!!

I'm loving that I just finished the 4th book in the House of Night series and am starting a new book tonight!! Also the fact that I get to post on Book Club Friday!!
Lastly, I'm loving, that lately I have the strong urge to get reconnected back with Church. This is something that I have been feeling for a while and have finally decided that fiance and I are going to find a church to connect to!!

This was fun!!

Whineee-o!

I am not a drinker by any means.
First of all I have an abnormally high tolerance for alcohol, which is odd because I never drink.
& too, I can not stand beer, because I just don't have the "affinity" for the taste.
However, I love the idea of drinking wine.
Something about sitting down to dinner with a nice glass of red wine seems so classy and inviting to me.
My only issue is that I am super picky. I love super sweet wine and have yet to fine this one kind that I had in Florida last year on vacation.
I have tried several and am ready to give up but before I did, I though I would try this!!
So I am reaching out to my bloggie friends. Does anyone know any really sweet wines that are worth trying!?

Book Club

Friday book club!!!
This is one of my favorite posts due to my love of reading!! Too bad I don't get to read enough!!
To link up, all you have to do is grab the button (above) and link up (here)!

You can write about any book you want.

Chosen by P.C. Cast & Kristin Cast
Synopsis from their site.
"Dark forces are at work at the House of Night and Zoey Redbird's adventures at the school take a mysterious turn. Her best friend, Stevie Rae, is undead and struggling to maintain a grip on her humanity. Zoey finds herself in the very unexpected and rare situation of having three boyfriends. Mix a little bloodlust into the equation and the situation has the potential to spell social disaster. Just when it seems things couldn't get any tougher, vampyres start turning up dead. Really dead. It looks like the People of Faith are tired of living side-by-side with vampyres. But, as Zoey and her friends so often find out, how things appear rarely affects the truth..."
 ♥
I pretty much like every book that I come in contact with at least 9 out of 10 times, so once again I really liked this book. Not as great as the first one but absolutley better than the second. I really like this whole series and recommend it to anyone who wants an easy fun book.

I would love to have an actual book club, where we all get together like once every 2 weeks or something and talk about the book.
Too bad I have hardly any time to read let alone meet up and dicuss what I have read.
Maybe some day.
Or maybe I could start something on here!?
Who knows!
What books have you been reading lately!?
Don't forget to link up!
xoxo.

How To: Not Completly Frustrate Your Cashier.

I have been working in retail since I was about 15, and especially since I began college and needed a part time job to be able to afford to actually go to school. Well while finishing my masters, I have picked up more hours for the obvious reason that going for you masters is outlandishly expensive. In fact it kind of makes me sick to think about how much I pay to be taught and read out of text books.
So, in my time of retail I have become overly frustrated by consumers.
Yes, I realize my job is easy, and I am not complaining about the work that I do by any means.
I am however, complaining about how people treat other people.
So here is my list of How To: Not Completely Frustrate Your Cashier:

1) Do not cash out while talking on the phone/ answer your phone while being cashed out.
This is one of the most rude things I have ever encountered. Not only does it make it difficult to ring people out due to not being able to talk to them, find out if they found everything okay, or how their service was. But you don't even get a hi, hello, how are you from them. You literally have to interact with your cashier for couple minutes top. Put down the cell phone for 5 seconds and actually acknowledge that there is another human being in front of you and be respectful.

2) Do not cash out while texting.
Along the same lines as number one. This is super rude and quite impersonal. You can't possibly truly focus on what your cashier is saying while telling your friend how great  your butt looks in the new pants you bought. I could ring you up for 14 things instead of the 10 you bought and you would never know because that text your sending is just so much more important that the 20 seconds it would take to cash out.

3) Do not throw your money at your cashier.
This may seem like a no brainer, but I can not tell you how many times a day I get money thrown at me. I'm not talking wind up and literally chucked, but people very carelessly just toss their money, causing it to go all over and at times the change even rolling off the counter and on to the floor. Again, we'll go back to manners. Its polite to wait two seconds and put it in my hand.

4) On that same note, do not put your money on the counter when the cashier is holding their hand out for you.
We're not holding our hands out for a reason. It is hard to pick up 99 cents of change off the counter. So please just place the money in our hands!

5) Act remotely polite.
Don't ignore us when we ask you how you found things. Don't look at us like we are crazy. When we ask you to sign up for things, just humor us and let us finish. We have to ask, its not like we enjoy it.
Smile.
Your shopping!

Hahah, thanks for letting me vent ya'll.
What can you not stand that people do while checking out?
xoxo.

Life Mantras

Read this over at Donna Dell's blog and thought they were too good to pass up =]

ONE
Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

TWO
Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
THREE
Don’t believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
FOUR
When you say, “I love you,” mean it.
FIVE
When you say, “I’m sorry,” look the person in the eye.
SIX
Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
SEVEN
Believe in love at first sight.
EIGHT
Never laugh at anyone’s dreams. People who don’t have dreams don’t have much.
NINE
Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it’s the only way to live life completely.
TEN
In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
ELEVEN
Don’t judge people by their relatives.
TWELVE
Talk slowly but think quickly.
THIRTEEN
When someone asks you a question you don’t want to answer, smile and ask, “Why do you want to know?”
FOURTEEN
Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
FIFTEEN
Say “bless you” when you hear someone sneeze.
SIXTEEN
When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.
SEVENTEEN
Remember the three R’s: Respect for self; Respect for others; and Responsibility for all your actions.
EIGHTEEN
Don’t let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
NINETEEN
When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
TWENTY
Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.
TWENTY ONE
Spend some time alone.
xoxo.

I am not currently debating between a guestbook and the guestbook box.
I am really leaning toward the guestbook box. That way people can put their names as well as advice!!
But I still do not know yet!!
What are you favorite Etsy shops?!

Life is Very Unpredictable

Updates:
Life has been quite unpredictable lately.
After graduating, working constant 75- 100 hour work weeks each week, and then moving
I pretty much win the worst blogger award.

However, things are finally starting to settle and fiance and I are getting in a routine!!
Which means I can finally find time to blog.

Wedding:
I'll have a good post for this wedding wednesday we are down to 10 months 1 week and 3 days
and I have quite a bit to cross off my list of things to do!
I will discuss this more in detail, but I may have completely planned out honeymoon ♥

Running:
Ugh, I hadn't run in like a month due to my ridiculous schedule, but finally I was able to get in a 2 mile run today.
I am going to have to plan when I can run on the days I only work one job and stick to it.
Today was a little 2 mile run to get back into things.
I could really tell I was out of shape as the I being cramping up after the first 200 yards.
My new shoes however, were amazing and I felt really good after a while and was able to pull out a decent time for 2 miles.

Books:
Finished two more books off of my book list and can not wait to start my next one. One thing I love about the summer with no textbooks is that I can actually read books for fun. Such a relaxing thing to do before bed!!
I will book review these next Friday.

Movies:
Fiance and I went to see XMen First Class last night and I loved it!!! I am slightly nerdy in the idea that I love these type of movies. Xmen, Harry Potter, Resident Evil, Lord of the Rings, I love them all. I especially loved this movie. It put all the other xmens in to context, and helped to understand them better!!

Lastly before I head off to work.
Once my hair grows a few more inches this is how I want to cut it:
Yay or nay?
xoxo.

Moving Moving Moving

So fiance and I are in the process of moving.
Sadly there will be no room tour because this is just a temporary place until I find a big girl job.
But its cute nonetheless.
However, it is taking forever to get everything unpacked.
On top of working two jobs both full timeish, and job applications and tests, I am exhausted.
So I am interntless for a few day, luckily, my friend had her laptop at work, so I could give ya all an update!!
 xoxo.

Sometime he is a pain in the butt, and then sometimes he goes and does this...

I have had quite the eventful last few days.
It all started out with going out to eat with {fiances} mother.
This was very interesting and awkward and not much was said to me, but I guess its a start.
Then it was {fiances} birthday. We had such a good time!! We headed to the city, and had a great time.
On the way back we stopped at Yankee Candle, because there is not one by where we live.
Mind you {fiance} is obsessed with anything that smells like blueberry or grape, therefore he insisted on getting some candles. Well I decided that I had been wanting a tart burner for a while, so what the heck. So we pick out way too many tarts, and I get scents such as Bahama breeze, sage & citrus, and my new favorite soft blanket
credit
and {fiance} picks out, blueberry, blueberry scone, vineyard )which smells just like grapes, and root beer float.. No I am not kidding it smells just like root beer! So I like him get the, and be all giddy because its his birthday.
So the next day, I leave for work and he tells me he is gonna light them. Okay fine.
So he has to go to work later so I told him to blow it out before he starts getting ready for work and once its totally cool to pop it in the freezer for about 15 minutes (Makes the tart come out super easy).
Does he listen? NOPE?
He puts the thing right in the freezer right after he blows it out, and tells me this like two hours he went to work. So freaking out thinking my new tart burner is cracked, I stop by on my way to job 2 to check.
I didn't end up seeing any cracks due to the fact that it was frozen to the bottom of our freezer and I couldn't get it out. So I tell {fiance} to defrost the freezer when hes home. So what happens? I get a call at work next tell me that he got the tart burner out and its fine. Sweeet, so I told him to make sure he put the freezer setting back on cold. This is where he informs me that he just dumped hot water on the tart burner in the freezer to get it out! Hhahah omgoodness, I told him luckily it didn't crack but don't you think that if going form hot to cold would crack it, going from cold to hot might crack it too? This thought didn't cross his mind at the time!!
Silly boys!!!
So then, I come home to this:

He is too cute for words!!!
On top of all of this, then i found out I passed the NCE and as long as I pass internship, I will be a national certified counselor!!!
{Sigh of relief x 2000}
Hope you all had an amazing long weekend!!!
xoxo!
