Fridays Book Club

Meant to link up with Megan at A Day In the Life and Heather from Blonde Undercover Blonde's book club last Friday but time got away from me!

I think this is a great way to share books and let others know what you are reading, so I am hoping to link up every Friday that I have finished a book!

I recently finished book two in the House of Night Series by P.C & Kristen Cast

So far I am really enjoying this series. Similar to like a mix of Harry Potter and Twilight, but much different at the very same time.

Book two was just as good as book one, and I absolutley recommend it to everyone else.

An easy beach, or bath read for sure!

Tonight, I only have to work one job!! Thank goodness. 

So I am off to see Hangover 2 with my fiance and some friends!!

Seriously Thursday!?

 Okay so, 

Seriously!?... I have worked 60 out of my 100 hours work week and that was only in three days.

I am hardly staying a wake and the work week may turn out to be like 110 hours not 100. 

Thankfully, I only have 2 more weeks of this.... 

Sarcasm.

Seriously?!.. I am so happy Scotty won American Idol. I think it is ridiculously cute, and love his deep deep voice! 

You go Scotty!!!

Seriously?!... I am ready for the rain to be over, and the sun to start sticking around.

My fiance works outside and the rain isn't helping!

Seriously!?... I am moving out of my apartment soon. They stuck another ridiuclous roommate in with me and I just can't take it anymore.

I already paid my rent for the past two months which sucks, but I will be staying elsewhere for free, so technically, I am not losing any money!

Seriously?!.... My fiance is being incredibly helpful lately. Usually hes pretty helpful, but lately it has been ridiculous!


Seriously!?... There are random little small triangle holes in my shower liner and I have no idea where they came form or what they could be from...?


Seriously?!... I do not want to have to get ready for work right now... but I have too...

Graduation 2011!!!!

Thank you for all of your sweet congratulations yesterday!!

Graduation was amazing for both {b} and I!!

We had a lovely time with out family and friends, and ended the day relaxing looking at all our fun pictures!!

Here are a few from our amazing day!!

We graduated at different times in the day, which was nice, but also rough because we had to sit through the same speeches twice!! 
It was an amazing time.
But now, its back to the reality of 75 hour weeks.
Amazing weekend though.
Today I am spending the day cleaning the entire apartment.
Editing a final paper
and inputting data all night long!!

Today is a good day!!

Today is the day that the fiance and I graduate!!!

Him officially, me I have summer internship left, 

but it will be the last time I walk across the stage!!

Happy Graduation Day to Us!!

11 months until our wedding!!

New Goodies.

So in the midst of writing my paper, 

which I am half way done mind you!

I took a run to de-stress, clear my mind and probably keep what sanity I have left!!

Well half way through my run, I started to get a little blister, sadly as I continued it became worse and worse. 

This was the third run in a row I had started to get blisters, so I thought to myself..

It's probably time to get a new pair of running shoes!
So I headed to the mall and picked up these badboys!

I can't wait to take them out for a spin!!!

Have any of you had any experiences with these shoes!?

They are super light and are suppose to be great for training for marathons and half marathons!!

I'll let everyone know how they are once I break them in!

So I was feeling a bit guilty about spending the 80 dollars that I had to on these, but feet are important, and running is my one favorite hobby, so although it was justified, I still felt bad. 

Well luckily my roommate came up to me and told me that he had over 700 dollars left on his meal plan and that he wouldn't be able to spend it by Saturday {the last day we have to spend our meal plans}

So we headed to the campus cafe {mini-mart/ eatery} to spend the money.

Mind you its ridiculously overpriced, but if we didn't spend it the school got it for free. 

Therefore we splurged.

Made sure I took one from a different angle so you can see just how much we got. 

I am basically set on toothbrushes, toothpaste, tampons and sodium filled non perishables for quite sometimes.

Therefore, this even further justified me spending money on new shoes!!!!

This picture oddly reminds me of Becky at From Mrs. To Mama, except no coupons were involved, but hey it was free to me!
Needless to say today was quite the productive day. 
Not to mention I also got a free pair of undies from Victoria's today!!
Well off to get in atleast another page before I go to bed!!

My topic for today's Wedding Wednesday is Shoes!

Now I love shoes, so I am entertaining the idea of getting two pairs. 

One gorgeous pair of heels and a pair of small kitten heels or flats for later in the night when my feet start hating me!

Monster-In-Law

Remember the movie starring Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda?

Well my relationship with my soon to be mother-in-law can kind of equate to that. 

Well not entirely.

My soon to be mother-in-law is no way crazy, or a monster.

But, she is not very fond over the fact that her son and I are getting married.

Well i don't really know whats she mad about.
I think it may be due to the fact that we live together before we are married, 

and that she is somewhat 'hyper-religious' 

Either way, the relationship between us is chaotic to say the least.

More like non existent.

So finally, I have become fed up. 

I can't handle my life being as dramatic as a fiction movie.

I can't handle not being able to share my excitement with her and ask her for her advice.

So.., I am writing her a letter.

A 5 paged letter to be exact.

Well, maybe not, my first draft was 5 pages, but there was a whole lot of emotion in that.

Once I calm down, I will probably be able to make it more mature and appropriate. 

But right now nope.

I kind feel like I am the only one who has difficult relationships with their in-laws.

I know this isn't true. 

But at the moment I feel like it. 

{I just wrote the letter, hence this emotion}

On the bright side.

I had  a terrible bout of insomnia last night, which is no good, but it helped me finish a book that I had been reading for quite sometime.
House of Night: Marked

 So I started reading these series after a recommendation from a fellow blogger. It kind of ish similar to Twilight, but not really. Same time of genre. 
I though the book was fabulous. I look good bath books or beach books. Books that I don't have to put too much thought into, but that are not so simple it bores me. 
I am beginning to read the second book in this series: Untamed.
Hopefully it will be as good as the first.
I love crossing books off my book list.

Tomorrow looks like another beautiful sunny day, and thankfully I only have to work one shift,
meaning I get to go for a nice long run. 
I am hoping to do about 5 miles but we'll see where the day takes me!!

Eye Candy

After 15 hours of work and internship yesterday, 

the fiance and I headed for a late night movie.

I was not too interested in seeing Thor, 

but he sits through my chick flicks, I can sit through his kinds of movies.

Well clearly I was mistaken, because not only was the movie Thor exciting, 

I got to stare at this lovely piece of eye candy the entire time:

Outfit of the Day and a Question.

As the semester begins to come to a close for me, I am getting quite nervous/ excited.

I don't officially end until August. 

However, alls that I have left is internship during the summer.

That too me is kinda of unbelievable!

I have to begin applying to jobs soon which causes me to be even more nervous because I have NO idea how close to graduating you should start applying!

How about you guys. If i finishing in August, when would be a good time to start applying to jobs?

I love that I can come to you gals for answers!!

Wedding Wednesday # 12

Going home on Easter also gave me a good opportunity to meet up with one of my best friends and bridesmaids and start the process of looking at bridesmaid dresses!!!

My friends all have huge differing personalities and drastically different body types, so I knew finding a dress to please everyone is going to be a challenge.

I am not setting many limits on my gals though.

They have pretty much free reign other than I would like it black and tea length.

Otherwise it is up to them what style, and look.

I am also not opposed to two of them wearing the same dress and the other two wearing a different same dress.

This may help to eliminate issues with how different they are shaped.

But now we are stuck and they all can't decide and its going to be an even more difficult time to get them all into the dress shop to try them all on together to be able to debate it out.
That is where you lovelies come in.

Happy May 1st!!

I can't believe April has already come and gone!

I feel like this year is flying by, and that is somewhat scary to me!!

So it is beautiful out right now 55 currently where I am right now and it is still quite early.

I am debating on whether to go for a run or not. I have been quite sick the past two days, but I am feeling better today, but I don't know if I should go for a run or take it easy for the rest of the day. 

Hmm. Can't decide.
