Currently stuck in a rut.

So I am currently stuck in a rut. I am not sure what is happening but after my partner threw the issue of time in my face, I have become quite stressed out. Today I took a mini mental health day and went Halloween decoration shopping with bf. I love holidays so it really calms me down to go and do something fun like pick out decorations!!
The issue the arose this weekend that has currently caught all of my attention is the other people who live in my apartment. A few apartments down from me are some young students who are so loud. Every Friday and Saturday for the past 4 weeks they have had parties. Now I am not being unreasonable at all. I remember what it was like to have just turned 21 and want to party because that's super cool, but these kids leave their apartment WIDE open music blasting and the constant smell of smoke [the building is smoke free].

Now I know I should go and ask these kids to just shut their door, but honestly I am intimidated that it won't work and then if I go and complain they will know its me.
I seem kind of childish in this, but I was a Resident Advisor for 5 years so I was able to tell people to quiet down, so I have no experience in this at all.
Any advice?
On a happier note!! Today is bf's and my 11 month!! This is quite exciting, as there is only 1 month left until one year!!
To celebrate are going pumpkin and apple picking tomorrow afternoon!! I can't wait!!

Lastly, as some of you may have read my dog was super sick with Lyme disease that spread to his kidneys. Well he is doing much better but still keeping him in our prayers everynight!!
Today while shopping I bought him a cute little Halloween costume!! Mind you. My dog is tiny and since he was shaved from all his IV's for all of his Meds he gets very cold, and since my mom doesn't leave anywhere without him, I felt it was appropriate to get him a warm little costumes!! He is gonna be a cutie little bat!!
xoxo!

  1. You need to go and talk to them. Not while it's going on , possibly really early in the morning.
As for the rut, take regular calm walks, listen to music and appreciate the little things
