I copied this from quite a few bloggers pages, but its a very needed cause.

On Tuesday, December 18th, there will be a blogger day of silence. We will post the button and that's it. Please try to not post anything else that day if possible.

 We are also raising money that will go to an organization in the memory of this tragedy. The organization is called The Newtown Family Youth and Family Services.

and youth services bureau dedicated to helping children and families achieve their

Pregnancy Weeks 15 and 16 & a little Christmas!!

Pregnancy Weeks 15 and 16!!

Weight gain: About 1.5lbs to 2lbs.

Food aversions: None

Morning sickness: None

Appetite : Getting bigger!!

Cravings: Pickles, Easy Mac, Tacos, mostly salty.

Clothes: Non Maternity Shirts, No pants fit!!

Headaches less frequent

Waking up in the night a couple times. 

No stretch marks!

Occasional Heartburn

Energy and Motivation is back!!

Feeling Tiny Movements (Maybe baby kicks)

Next appointment: Christmas Eve, Gender Reveal, 18 weeks 4 days!!

 Half the people I know are guessing its a girl, half are guessing its a boy. 

I have had dreams that it was a boy once and once a girl!! 

With Christmas just weeks away, hubby and I have finished Xmas shopping 

We usually do colored lights, but this year went for the white. 

Our tree is PERFECT!

  

Pregnancy Weeks 13 and 14 (Pinterest inspired)

I think every new momma-to-be has spent at least some time gazing over the pictures on pinterest looking for cute nursery ideas, newborn shots or other creative things. 

Well I am definitely no different, in fact I may be slightly obsessively the same.

So please know I found this idea for the following pictures there :)

Weeks 13 & 14:

Weight gain: Still 1 lb. 

Food aversions: Pretty much all gone

Morning sickness: Very infrequent, but still there at times.

Small appetite (I imagine from not eating much for 6 weeks)

Clothes: Mostly non maternity, although a few pants which fit perfectly before not longer button!

Itchy belly. 

Frequent headaches. 

Had to get 12 viles of blood drawn (yuck)

Waking up in the night a couple times. 

No stretch marks!

Energy is finally coming back, thank god!

Next appointment: 15 weeks 4 days.

 Note my haircut :)

My hubby sadly had to work this whole weekend, so I headed to my mothers house and spent some time with her!!

I probably gained about 5lbs with all the food I ate, which is good because I feel like I am not eating enough, but I just can't eat any more than I am!!!

Pregnancy Weeks 7 to 11.

Pregnancy is one of the most wonderful experiences in the world right!!

I'm not going to lie, I can not wait until I feel this way. 

I am not going to lie I am so excited. 

I can not believe that I have a little being growing inside of me. 

But man oh man, do I miss my appetite, my energy, my motivation blah!

Weeks 7- 9: 

Nauseated

Throwing up

Food aversions to almost everything

Can eat: Cereal and Past, some fruits. 

Weight Gain: None in fact lost 2

Peeing frequently

No energy

Low motivation

Exhausted but waking up at 3am to 5am fully energized. 

Weeks 10- 11:

Finally some relief from nausea. 

Still vomiting from time to time, but much less. 

Appetite: slightly increased. Pasta, Cereal, Bagels, Carrots are a guarantee okay.

Still tired.

Some days I feel perfectly good. 

Sleep pattern still a little better. 

Some jeans are getting too small. 

One dream that it was a boy.

11 week ultra sound

Heartbeat 176

Announced on Week 11 to the world we are pregnant. 

Momma has to go and get blood drawn next week. 

yuck. 

From Zero to 60 in two seconds flat.

So remember last post, when I was all "I have very few symptoms"

Well. 

HA, I am unsure where that went real fast. 

Currently at 

6 Weeks:

Nauseated (all day, especially while showering)

Very limited appetite 

(can handle, cereal, jello, yogurt, buffalo chicken strips, sweet potato fries, & pizza rolls)

That's about it. 

Lethargic

Exhausted all the time

Mild Breast Tenderness

Wake up a million times a night (not to pee, just can't stay asleep)

Peeing more

No weight gain. 

My couch and I have become very good friends. 

Like BFF's!!

However, highlights of this week!

Hubby & I had our first ultra sound last friday. 

I was still really early, I was estimating 6 weeks 4 days, but ended up being 6 weeks 1 day. 

Due May 23rd. 

Heard the little heart beat for a quick second of 104, which is exactly where its suppose to be for 6 weeks (between 90-110)

Next appointment is at the end of October!!

 

First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage, Then Comes A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

Then comes a baby in a baby carriage!!!

Well 9 months of pregnancy, but then a baby!!

That's right, hubby and I are PREGNANT!!!

Still quite early right now, only about 5 weeks, but we are very excited. 

I found out a week ago today, I was 3 days late for my period but spotting, so I was expecting it to be coming soon. 

When all of a sudden, a TV show spiked my interest in taking a test

(Worse thing was it would say no, right!?)

This had been the first month we actually tried and although my hopes were up, I was remaining realistic!!

So I ran walked calmly  to the bathroom, grabbed the little stick and crossed my fingers. 

About 30 seconds after the control line popped up I saw this:

  Excitedly, I called my mom freaking out. 

(Husband was at work) 

So this was all around 7:30 8pm at night. 

I tried to wait until he got home from work to surprise him. 
But I am the WORST secret keeper ever, so called him at work

& when he did he was under attack by all of these:

 I had to be sure.

I then had to go get blood drawn the next day & this is where the anxiety began. 

I was still spotting & the first blood test told me that my HCG level was only 60. Pretty low. 

This can mean 1 of 2 things. 

1. I could be super early in the pregnancy. 

or 

2. Something is wrong with the pregnancy. 

Well nervous, but staying positive, I went for a blood test in 2 days on Friday where we should see the numbers at least double.

Well what did mine do!!!??

They quadrupled!!

YAY!!

 So in about 2 weeks, I go in for my first ultrasound to make sure everything looks good. 

I am praying every night that all is well!!

But we are over the moon happy about this!!

As you can tell this weekend we picked up some neutral things:

Week 5:

Symptoms: Very few

Minor headaches

Minor bloating (wedding rings get tight)

Peeing more frequently. 

No weight gain

No nausea

More to come as we find out more!!

End of Summer without Technology!!

So I accidentally feel off the internet world for a while. 

That includes twitter, pinterest, bloggers and facebook. 

It all started out with going on vacation. 

Hubby & I headed out on a small camping vacation around early August for the weekend and had no cell phone service. 

When I got back I just wasn't all into technology. 

Then hubby and I wait to our yearly summerly trip to Maine!!

Again super little service so not much technologying. 

& here we are. 

Back.
