Grab the button and then link up here!

So after not having reviewed a book for like 3 months
here I finally am ready to review a book & thankfully move on to another one.

Charmed Thirds by Megan McCafferty

"Things are looking up for Jessica Darling. She has finally left her New Jersey hometown/hellhole for Columbia University in New York City; she’s more into her boyfriend, Marcus Flutie, than ever (so what if he’s at a Buddhist college in California?); and she’s making new friends who just might qualify as stand-ins for her beloved best friend, Hope.
But Jessica soon realizes that her bliss might not last. She lands an internship at a snarky Brooklyn-based magazine, but will she fit in with the überhip staff (and will she even want to)? As she and Marcus hit the rocks, will she end up falling for her GOPunk, neoconservative RA . . . or the hot (and married!) Spanish grad student she’s assisting on a summer project . . . or the oh-so-sensitive emo boy down the hall? Will she even make it through college now that her parents have cut her off financially? And what do the cryptic one-word postcards from Marcus really mean?" (Credit)
This is the third book I read out of this series. They are really easy reads. No real hard plots. Simple to say the least. I actually did not mind the first two at all. They were cute, quirky and fun.
However, this one. I had SUCH A HARD TIME getting through.
I had been reading it since August.
The plot was just slow and uninteresting to me.
I still didn't mind the book. It just wasn't one of my favorites.
I would give it maybe 5/10.
Is it weird that I feel guilty giving a book a not top rating?
Well I can't wait to start my next book. I have about 15 to pick from. I am just not sure which one I want to read yet!!?
xoxo.

  3. I feel like the only books I have been reading lately are all for school, I never have time to read for fun. I'm looking for an easy read but interesting at the same time. Let us know what you decide to read next!

  4. I've had a couple books like that where I just couldn't get through it. I don't want to stop though since I've already invested so much time...so I finish and wish I'd quit the second I found it uninteresting! If I didn't listen to audiobooks during my commute I swear I'd never get through a book.
