Recent [New] Discoveries

So now that I finally have my own bathtub.

[Thankgoodness]

I was finally able to try out some new Lush bath products!!!

I am a huge bath person, but after spending 7 years in the dorms and college housing, I have not taken a bath in forever!

So the other day while I was bleaching my tub.

[I am a bleach freak]

I decided hey why not check out some Lush bath bombs and bubble bars!!

For those of you who do not know what bath bombs are here is a picture:

I got three:

Cinders:

"The moment Cinders drops into the bath, it begins to snap and pop thanks to a smattering of fizzy candy. Inspired by crackling fairytale hearths, this sweet and spicy treat is meant to warm and relax you. Cinnamon leaf oil heats things up when the weather outside is frightful, and since you've no place to go, stay for a while and let the almond oil soften up your skin."

Rocketeer:

"For an out-of-this-world bathing expedition, pop a Rocketeer Bath Bomb in the tub. The blue rocket pack shoots around your tub, leaving a wake of froth, fizz and the sweet scent of candy sticks. Watch the water change from blue to yellow to green as the yellow “flames” push the rocket around the tub "

May have bought this one for hubs-to-be. Who came up to me oh-so-cutely asking "would you think its weird if I took a bath one time"

He was so shy about this is was adorable!!

& lastly:

Twilight:

"Starry, starry night

That moment when the sun starts setting into the night sky, painting it with vibrant hues of orange and purple before being peppered with sparkling stars, is a wonder that we pause to admire with those we love. Recreate twilight in your bath water with clouds of lavender, ylang ylang and ovaltine to soothe body and mind.

Your swan song before bed

If you're stressed out, hugely overwhelmed or just plain exhausted; Twilight is the gentle, reassuring hug that leaves you feeling like everything's going to be okay. It's our most relaxing Bath Bomb yet, transforming you from worn out to warm and fuzzy. Lay back in the comforting herbal waters to soak your troubles far, far away."

& not to mention the Bubble Bars:

I only got one of these:

"Your personal comforter.

This fruity bubble bar gives the feeling of being hugged by a jolly blackcurrant. When life is getting you down, crumble The Comforter under hot, running water for purple water and creamy bubbles. It was created to bring a real sense of comfort to people, just like a real comforter (or scarf) would.

Sweet blackcurrants.

The warm aroma of cassis absolute is so relaxing that you'll go to bed feeling happier and the world will seem brighter the next day.

Cypress oil

Cypress oil is almost colourless and has a fresh woody aroma. It is astringent, deodorant, toning and antiseptic oil."

I'll review as soon as I try one!!!

Second recent new discovery:

Rent the Runway

"Rent the Runway provides access to premier dress and accessory rentals online for just 10% of retail price."

Has anyone ever used this site?

I am loving the idea!!

I'm thinking about getting one for my bridal shower!

Let me know any reviews!!!

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green and Brown!

Thank you for all the sweet comments on the wedding ring choice!!

I am unbelievably happy!!

The only bad part is now I just want to wear it all the time!

Its taking a wholee lot of self control.

Speaking of self control.

Yesterday, I ran my first 5 miles in a very long time!!

It felt absolutley amazing.

I am so happy I am getting back in to running.

The only bad part is that it is suppose to rain for the next few days and I hate running on treadmills.

I can not run nearly as long or as hard!

Oh well, better get use to it!!

I however, am not doing as good on my diet..

I have a bag of halloween candy sitting at my desk at work which is not very smart.

But its a good break for some of the people I see to be able to snack on some candy every now and then.

I should probably get rid of it...

Hahah

I should also get a scale..

There is one on my registry.

COME ON WEDDING!! GET HERE!!!

The other day cutes & I drove two hours to meet some friends.

Granted I feel asleep in the car and he drove, but we drove to these gorgeous mountains to go hiking.

I am not a huge hiker.

I don't like bugs.

Or tripping.

Which I do a lot.

But I love the feel of working hard & I love the views.

Beyond perfect day!!!

Other than that I am looking for a new nailpolish.

A beautiful fall color.

But I am not sure if I want a beige, dark red, dark orange or some other kind of fall color.

Ugh.

Anyone got any new suggestions?!

xoxo.

Indian Summer... That's probably not PC...

Hello amazingly warm fall day.

For those of you who do not know what an Indian Summer is I wiki'd it.

"An Indian summer is a meteorological phenomenon that occurs in the autumn. It refers to a period of considerably above normal temperatures, accompanied by dry and hazy conditions, usually after there has been a killing frost"

I don't know about  everywhere else other than New York, but last week was like 54 and the other night dropped to 22. So to me, this is an Indian Summer.

I am in no way complaining. I love fall, but I def love a nice hot day thrown in the mix!!

So today Beau & I went WEDDING RING shopping.

I was stuck between two amazing ones.

I am tempted to post them on here but at the same time I am wondering if I should leave it a surprise?!

What do you guys think!?

Ahhh welll nope I can't do it.

So here are the two I was choosing between:

I tried the second picture on first.

Then the first picture

and then went back and tried the second one on again.

The second picture was perfect.

It was classy.

Just the way I like it!

I really did love the one in the first picture.

But it's diamonds didn't appear as secure in the setting.

And I would have had to have my engagment ring altered to fit well, and there still would have been a small gap where the one in the second picture fits almost perfectly!

Plus when I tried the one on in the second picture for the second time.

My heart skipped a beat!!

Also this way i can eventually get a wrap for like our 5 year anniversary or something!!

What do you think!?

I am so happy!

I updated all my runs on daily mile today.

I hadn't been updating because of my fails with technology!!

I have been keeping up with running and am feeling great.

Pretty sure this time next year I will be ready for my second half marathon!!!

!!!!!

xoxo.

Attack of Technology

So, I have no idea what is happening in my life but all my forms of technology are turning against me!?

My microwave numbers randomly broke only displaying numbers 1-4....

No idea what happened.

I had to switch cell phone services due to no cell phone service at my new place.

& then all of a sudden my computer totally stopped recognizing my wireless signal.

Nothing was wrong with the router or anything, my computer just went bizerk!

So hence again my absence, I had to wait until I went home to get my old laptop.

Not sure what is wrong with my new laptop, but hopefully I can figure it out soon because this laptop sucks.

It randomly jumps up in my paragraphs when i'm typing, so if at one point my sentences make no sense.. forgive me I probably didn't notice the random jump!!

♥

Fall is in full swing and I am absolutely loving it.

I am sorry to everyone who doesn't like the chilly weather.

But crisp cool smell and fire wood nights are just perfect for me.

Not to mention I am in love with Halloween!!

Not to mention my kickbutt best friend does make up like this:
