Semi Fancy Dinner Date and 1/2 Marathon Update

Deadlines at work caused a slight lack of postings & thank goodness things slowed down!
Because I was getting slightly anxious over the fact that I had not posted in a few days!
So, bf and I went out the other night and had a lovely dinner a semi-fancy restaurant. 
It was so romantic and delicious.
I didn't bring my camera because I didn't think that would be appropriate but I had.
Appetizer: Shrimp wraped in basil and bacon.
 Meal: Twin Pieces of Filot Mignon with a Sherry and Gorgonzola demi-glace.
Dessert: Homemade Strawberry and Chocolate Swirl Ice Cream
It was a little pricey but so perfect!

Hair: 
My hair is simply thrown up into a messy bun with straightened bangs swept to the side & two soft pieces pulled down.

1/2 Marathon Update:

So, it is getting down real close!!

My 1/2 marathon is on Sunday not on Saturday so i will have to adjust to that but this is pretty close!!! Eeep!!

Rest day today and 6 miles tomorrow!!

I am going to really try to push the 4 mile on Thursday for as fast as I can go & then just go for completion on this Saturdays 12 mile run!!

Oh my goodness!!!

Adventures

As I mentioned previously, 
My bff came down for a couple of days & we had a blast!!
We went cliff jumping, to the beach, to get ice cream, out for cocktails & much more.
I don't see too many of my friends since I graduated so i adore my time with them when they get the chance to come down. Most stopped going to school after 4 years and I am pretty much the only one that went on to pursue my masters degree, so they tend to have a lot more money than I do.

I look super weird in the beach picture because the sun was seriously blinding me, but I love the beach!

 It was a really good time. 
One negative part of my friend coming down is that her visit but be quite behind in work and running. 
So I have been working very hard for the past 4 hours trying to get as much work done as I possibly can before I head off to baby sit for 5 hours tonight.
I will also be spending all day tomorrow working, and running as well.
I hope to get in a 5 mile run in tomorrow as I have only run 3 miles this week.
I am however, quite excited for Jersey Shore tonight. 
Its absolutley nonsense and trash.
But it makes me laugh!

Heavy Picture Post: Tie Dye Cupcakes, OOTD, Maine!

I'm back!!

and had a wonderful 5 day vacation.
Although I have not been running in quite sometime & need to seriously get back to it!!
So as mentioned before I made Tie Dye cupcakes & promised to show everyone how to make them!!
Tie Dye Cupcakes:
Start with mixing the ingredients into a large bowl. 

Next Separate batter into 4 separate smaller bowls.

Add food coloring of your choice to each individual bowl.

Pour and layer each color into cupcake tins 
[do not stir the colors in the tins]

Bake

Frost to your desire.

 Eat and Enjoy♥

 These are pictures of the Bar itself at low tide. All the sand above where the car is will all be covered by water at high tide & they say that at least once every year a tourist will forget there car parked there and there car will be all ruined by water!!! 


So that has been my week.
As mentioned before I am super behind on running & will be running 3 miles to catch back up tomorrow!!!
I also hope to get a few more books in before internship fires up in September!!

Time got away from me last evening 
So I was unable to post the pictures from my tie dye cupcake baking extravaganza!

My Saturday

Oh busy Saturdays...
As I am sure many of you can empathize, my Saturdays are often very busy & filled with work.
We have a very big deadline at work next week & seeing how I am suppose to be going on vacation I am cramming it all into this weekend. 
Hence the 1am post [I needed a break]
 So before knowing there was this deadline at work, and before knowing about my vacation, I agreed to babysit from 1pm to early evening.
 Well... early evening turned into 11pm at night & now I am stuck working through the night!!
Oh well. Sadly after babysitting a 3 year old and a 2 month old, I am not the tired..

So due to the fact that I babysat for 4 more hours than I expected I was unable to go running, bake tie dye cupcakes or do work.
So now is the work & tomorrows the cupcakes & running will have to come when it can fit.
